Licence Recovery Tool May Not Save Your A$$
Adobe has a new version of the Licence Recovery Tool since I was there last…
After migrating a CS4 installation to a new Mac, all apps open fine except Acrobat Pro 9 which I had updated to 9.3 recently.
Acrobat Pro was asking for a serial number, and of course the one you get with the CS4 licence is rudely rejected.
So I downloaded and ran the Licence Recovery Tool and rebooted. No good. I can’t be bothered trying multiple times just to be disappointed by Adobe yet again, so I’m just reinstalling. Damn you Adobe, this is 2010, why can’t you get this right after all this time?
